Is Anyone Else Getting Tired of All The Complaining?

Okay, I suppose this is another COMPLAINT but I've just got to say it.

I'm sick of all the COMPLAINING about everything under the sun.  It seems that we have turned into a nation (perhaps a world) of WHINERS and COMPLAINERS!  Whatever happened to the CAN DO SPIRIT that once prevailed in our society?

It seems that our society simply thrives on negative news and loves to complain... but it seems that few people are willing to MAKE DECISIONS to do anything different!  Not only that but we seem to think that it is the GOVERNMENT'S responsibility to make our lives better.

THE GOVERNMENT AIN'T MY NANNY and I don't need one anyway.

We are ADULTS, are we not?  And as such we are responsible for our own lives and WE ARE RESPONSIBLE for MAKING DECISIONS that can improve the things we are unhappy with.

If I need more money for GAS then I guess I'll just have to spend LESS on something else... for goodness sake, I can think of a dozen things I spend money on every day that I do not NEED from coffee to beer to junk food to satellite TV, fast food, AC/Heating cooler or warmer than needed for survival (and even comfort), eating out, magazines, and on and on.

IT IS ALL ABOUT PERSONAL DECISIONS... and I can make the DECISION to ACT rather than COMPLAIN!

Anyone care to join me?

I can't stand to be around complainers or people who are continually negative. If you can't say anything poitive, then keep your mouth shut.

Complaining is the only way to pass the time of boredom.

Great post Tim and Susan. There are many things we could do without to make up for the high price of gas. I am unhappy about the gas prices as anyone, so I am soon getting a truck with better gas mileage. Keep up the positive! - Ray

I worked for a builder that had a group of complainers and haters.  Management got so sick of the negativity they went out and fired all 4 of them in one day!  I still to this day applaud the action they took.

What you focus on expands.  If you focus on complaining, the universe will make sure you always have plenty to complain about.

Well said!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I too am tired of all the complaining, which seems to be everywhere!!!  We are responsible for our own actions and need to address our daily activities in such a way to properly handle this responsibility.

A government that does not take care of us, but a society where we are responsible for our own actions and for family care and welfare.  Growing up on a farm, we were self sufficient, industrious, grateful for all we had.  Too busy with chores to whine or find fault and feel sorry for ourselves! Good post!

Great topic.  Personal Responsibility, now there is a phrase I don't hear too often.  I wonder what happened to it?

I agree completely! Every Tuesday morning in our staff meeting I tell all of my sales associates that it is about the attitude that we give off.  If we wine and complain that attitude is going to be taken on by the people we are dealing with and it is going to have a direct effect on your business.  Keep it positive and you will be amazed at how much happier of a person it will make you.  Make the choice!

One of my favorite lines is, "Don't bring the whine because I don't have any cheese and crakers to go with it."

Complainers are psychic vampires.  Five minutes and you are completely drained.  These are the people you never ask, "So, how's it going?"
