Jacksonville Florida Real Estate Values

The year 2010 started out well for Northeast Florida Home Buyers and Sellers as Jacksonville continues to offer some of the best opportunities for real estate purchases in the entire state of Florida.  As with other regions, Jacksonville real estate values have declined over the past few years but not nearly as much as most.

According to Florida Realtors and the University of Florida Bergstrom Center for Real Estate Studies, Jacksonville real estate prices only decline 16% from 2008 to 2009.  By comparison, Tampa saw a decline of 19%, Orlando values dropped 28% and Miami had a 29% reduction.  The statewide average was a whopping 24% decline.  So you can see that Jacksonville continues to be a strong economic leader in the state.
